The Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC) is an initiative of the Government of Rajasthan aimed at enhancing the employability and livelihoods of the state's youth. Established under the Department of Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship, RSLDC's primary goal is to implement skill development programs across various sectors to improve the job readiness of individuals, particularly focusing on marginalized communities.

RSLDC recognized the importance of English communication skills in today’s globalised world and decided to equip the young individuals of Rajasthan with English language proficiency skills, enhancing their confidence and job readiness.
Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL), in its ongoing commitment to empowering youth and fostering their employability, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC). This collaboration is a part of the ViBHA (Videshi Bhasha Adhigam) project, aimed at providing comprehensive training in English language skills to young individuals aspiring to pursue higher education or professional opportunities abroad.

Capacity Building / Skills imparted:
RKCL’s English language trainings imparted under this initiative are based on the global language proficiency framework CEFR which stands for the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. CEFR framework is used worldwide for educational and professional purposes, helping learners, educators, and employers assess English language proficiency. All the trainings also integrate cultural insights and practical applications to ensure well-rounded language acquisition.
This initiative has not only empowered the beneficiaries with English language proficiency but also opens doors to new career opportunities in a rapidly globalizing job market thereby enhancing employability skills.

Beneficiary Details
Under this initiative, approx. 200 candidates have been trained by RKCL across multiple centers at Jaipur and Jodhpur which included professionals like Nurses, MBAs, Engineers, ITI / Polytechnic students aspiring for global opportunities. Going forward, RKCL plans to roll out this initiative across all the districts.

Highlight of the Scheme

The training under the scheme is conducted at selected RKCL’s IT Gyan Kendras situated at District HQ depending upon the batch formation.

Presently, applicants can get training for up to CEFR B2 level proficiency at their nearest preferred centers.

The application process is completely end-to-end online/paperless, and applicants can apply from anywhere and anytime during the application invitation duration.

JanAadhaar-based application process fetches the individual details automatically, avoiding human typing errors and saving time with pre-filled authenticated information from the department, thus no document scrutiny is required for the pre-filled information.

Merit-based selection process for selecting beneficiaries under the scheme. The department has defined the target group of beneficiaries, and selection is made on the basis of the merit logic decided by the department.

Pre-assessment is conducted for every student to create a customized learning path.
