The Tribal Area Development Department (TADD), Government of Rajasthan is dedicated to improving the socio-economic conditions of the Scheduled Tribes (ST) in the state. The department operates under the Government of Rajasthan and focuses on providing educational, economic, and social support to the tribal communities. Department’s efforts like Education, Skill Developments, Welfare Schemes etc. aim at integrating Rajasthan’s tribal communities into the mainstream economy while preserving their cultural heritage.

Job Readiness Training Program
Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL) has signed a collaboration agreement with the Tribal Area Development Department, Government of Rajasthan (GoR), to provide Job Readiness Trainings to Scheduled Tribe (ST) learners. This partnership aims to enhance employment opportunities for tribal communities through targeted training programs.

Capacity Building / Skills imparted:
As part of this initiative, Initially Job Readiness training modules (Spoken English + IT) were offered to learners. Subsequently, RKCL’s flagship courses— RS-CIT (Rajasthan State Certificate in Information Technology) and RS-CFA (Rajasthan State Certificate in Financial Accounting) were also added under this capacity building initiative. These courses are designed to equip learners with essential skills and qualifications to thrive in various job sectors.
This initiative has not only empowered the tribal ST youth with language proficiency but also opens doors to new career opportunities in a rapidly globalizing job market thereby enhancing their confidence levels as well as employability.

Beneficiary Details
Approximately 3,000 beneficiaries are to be trained under this initiative across various districts. RKCL has trained more than 15000 learners for TAD department under various capacity building initiatives.

Highlight of the Scheme

The training under the scheme is conducted at approximately 100 RKCL’s IT Gyan Kendras.

Presently, ST candidates can choose to get training in any of the following courses at their preferred centers:
- RS-CIT
- RS-CFA
- Job Readiness Training (Spoken English + IT Skills)

The application process for the program is managed through an in-house scheme management portal developed by RKCL to streamline applications and provide easy access to training opportunities. The process is fully online, paperless, and can be accessed anytime during the application invitation period.

The JanAadhaar-based application process fetches individual details automatically, which avoids human typing errors and saves time with pre-filled authenticated information from the department, eliminating the need for document scrutiny.

The selection of beneficiaries is merit-based. The Department has defined the target group of beneficiaries, and selection is made based on merit logic decided by the department.

A pre-assessment is conducted for the Job Readiness Training (JRT) course to create a customized learning path for each student.
