  The learner should fill an application form available at the RKCL Training center (IT Gyan Kendra), submit relevant documents & pay the prescribed course fees.

  Once the learner submits his/her details, relevant documents and pays the fees, the RKCL Training center (IT Gyan Kendra) will fill the learner details in the RKCL portal and upload the learner data. Further, the RKCL Training center (IT Gyan Kendra) coordinator will hand over a fee receipt. Learner is expected to verify the online details (personal details, course name, batch/month, fee receipt) as filled in by RKCL Training center (IT Gyan Kendra).

  Once Admission is confirmed on RKCL portal, RKCL Training center (IT Gyan Kendra) will assign a mutually suitable training batch & time to the learner. After batch/time allotment, learner has to physically attend the classes at IT Gyan Kendra premises. A well trained & qualified faculty/instructor will teach the course as per schedule and impart both theoretical and practical lab-based knowledge.

  Subsequently, the learner also receives a printed book from RKCL Training center (IT Gyan Kendra) which serves as a text book for the course. The cost of book is already included in the fee.

We employ a Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) model-based language skill teaching under this course. The pedagogy involves a blended mode of learning i.e. using both online and offline training methodologies. A few salient features are listed below -

• RKCLs English course has an emphasis on the functional use of English covering all aspects of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing (LSRW) and remedies for removal of MTI (Mother Tongue Influences)

• We use the blended learning methodology with digital content for both the trainer/faculty as well as the student, enhancing learning, practice and self- assessment, judiciously using the best elements of technology and training. The content has rich audio-visual features offering ample practice and self-assessment such as ‘listen-record-compare’ and glossary. The sessions are designed so that the course follows a parallel-structure in which concepts are introduced in the ILT (instructor led theory classroom) session, and reinforced with hands on practice in the CBT (lab) session. The printed book contents are also in sync with e-content sequence which makes the students practice at their home & theory session also.

• Various role plays and free speech activities make the classroom sessions highly interactive and participatory in nature which and helps in removing stage fear amongst the learners and leads them to feel confident.

• The recommended daily training plan contains one classroom session followed by one computer-based learning session. The classroom training will be conducted by RKCL Center Trainer. The Lab sessions will have each student undergoing practice on a computer under the supervision of the trainer. The practice sessions will involve the students in various exercises in order to make them listen, speak and self-assess at their own pace & repeat exercises as many times as required.
