The Directorate of Women Empowerment (DWE), part of the Women and Child Development (WCD) Department of the Government of Rajasthan, is committed to empowering women across the state through free computer training programs. Free Women Computer Training Scheme
The Scheme is a part of the budget announcement by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of the state during 2011-12 after identifying the necessity of basic IT Training to female citizens of Rajasthan to empower them do their day to day work easily and efficiently. Under this scheme, Initially RS-CIT Course was selected for providing training to the eligible females of the state. Over the years, RS-CFA and RS-CSEP Course are also included in the scheme.

Highlight of the Scheme

The training under the scheme is being conducted at approximately 4500+ IT Gyan Kendra locations. These ITGKs are situated in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas of the state.

Presently, Three courses are chosen for free training to females:

RS-CSEP (Rajasthan State Certificate in Spoken English and Personality Development)

The application process is completely end-to-end online/paperless, and applicants can apply from anywhere and anytime during the application invitation period.

Janadhar-based application process fetches the individual details automatically, thus avoiding not only human typing errors but also saving time by pre-filled authenticated information from the department. Therefore, no document scrutiny is required for the pre-filled information.

Every year, more than 2.5 lakh applicants apply online to take advantage of the scheme.

A merit-based selection process is used to select beneficiaries under the scheme. DWE has defined the target group of beneficiaries, and selection is made based on priority.
