These guidelines serve as a valuable roadmap, helping learners stay focused and get the most out of their RS-CIT course training. It is strongly recommended that learners enroll only at authorized RKCL IT Gyan Kendra's (ITGKs) for the RS-CIT course. Doing so not only guarantees high-quality training but also ensures that the certification is legitimate and recognized. Additionally, staying informed about the services and benefits offered by RKCL allows learners to make the most of all available resources. Though these may seem like a minor detail, adhering to these instructions helps create a smoother, more enjoyable learning experience, allowing learners to complete their training without any stress.

Before Taking Admission
Before admission, students must check the following information related to the IT Gyan Kendra: -

At the time of enquiry, please check the registration certificate of the Gyan Kendra, the address mentioned in it and the code of the Gyan Kendra.

Make sure to check whether biometric machine is available at the Gyan Kendra.

Fill your name, e-mail ID, and mobile number in clear letters on the application form for RS-CIT course, and ensure that the Gyan Kendra has filled the same mobile number and e-mail in the application form so that the necessary information reaches you on time.

Get information about which month/batch of RS-CIT your admission will be done from the Gyan Kendra.

After the Gyan Kendra has uploaded your admission form, print out the Learner Personal Information Report (LPIR), check your details, sign the LPIR report, and return it to the Gyan Kendra. In case of any error in your admission form data, please ensure that all the data is corrected by the Gyan Kendra before payment to RKCL.

After paying the prescribed fees to the Gyan Kendra at the time of admission, one must obtain the computer-generated receipt and check the name, receipt number, and code of the Gyan Kendra printed on the receipt.

If the student has taken admission in the RS-CIT course under the scheme, it is necessary to obtain the conditions of training and other information under the scheme from the Gyan Kendra.
During RS-CIT Course Training
Students should ensure to follow the following guidelines through ITGK during training:

The student must obtain his/her Unique Learner Code from ITGK to ensure his/her admission to the RS-CIT course.

At the commencement of the course, the student should collect the study material (Book) for the RS-CIT course from the Gyan Kendra.

It is desirable for the students to register their attendance successfully through the biometric machine every day before entering the class and while leaving the class.
-
RS-CIT course is taught to the student through ITGK on a computer through Learning Management Software (iLEARN) for the use of which the student is provided Login ID and Password.

Internal assessment in the RS-CIT course is of 30 marks, and it is mandatory for the student to get at least 12 marks to pass; otherwise, the student will be deprived of the main examination.

A prescribed number of assessments will be available to students for internal assessment in the RS-CIT course.

It is mandatory for the student to mark his attendance through the biometric machine before the scheduled time of attempting each assessment.

A student can attempt only a fixed number of assessments under internal assessment in a day.

Students and parents should be aware of the status of the student's attendance and internal assessment from ITGK from time to time and ensure the student's attendance and internal assessment are uploaded on the RKCL Server through ITGK.
For RS-CIT Final Examination
After the training, students should ensure to follow the following written guidelines as per their convenience:

The student should obtain the Admit Card (Permission Letter) from the Gyan Kendra before the examination date.

On the date of examination, arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled time with valid photo ID (original) and take your seat.

After the examination, match your answers with the "Answer Key" related to the examination on VMOU's website Click here and in case of any objection in the "Answer Key", contact the contact details given by VMOU. Send your objection within the prescribed interval.

Generally, the result of the examination is made available on VMOU website Click here after about 10 working days of the examination date.

RKCL may declare an "Exam Event" for the final examination of RS-CIT to be conducted by VMOU during the entire year. Each "Exam Event" can include one or more RS-CIT batches. A student can belong to any one RS-CIT batch, and any RS-CIT batch can appear in a maximum of 04 consecutive "EXAM EVENTS."
